Yes. Most of A&A's waterflood engagements involve an existing flood — diagnosing conformance problems, declining response, or pattern imbalance — rather than a greenfield design. What's the difference between streamline simulation and full-field reservoir simulation for waterflood?
Streamline simulation is faster and gives an intuitive, well-pair-by-well-pair view of interwell flow allocation, making it well suited to large models and rapid screening of pattern or rate changes. Full finite-difference simulation captures more complex physics (compositional effects, complex well controls) and is warranted when those effects matter to the decision at hand. A&A's consultants can advise which approach — or combination of both — fits your project.
Should we convert our waterflood to a chemical/polymer flood?
Sometimes — but only after the waterflood's own sweep efficiency has genuinely been optimized. A&A's mature-waterflood rejuvenation work screens for polymer-flood conversion as one option among several, so that clients don't pay for a chemical-EOR project to fix a problem that pattern realignment or conformance control could have solved more cheaply.
Does A&A sell conformance-control chemicals or injection equipment?
