We completed studies for revitalization of a mature oil field in Argentina for one of our clients, a major International oil & gas company:
- Identified the location of produced oil, and remaining oil,
- Recommended infill drilling to recover remaining/ bypassed oil,
- Identified areas/ patterns that are more or less mature than expected,
- Recommended modifications to waterflood management operations to improve sweep and recovery efficiency,
- Identified areas of poor conformance (thief zones),
- Made recommendations to improve conformance,
- Identified areas of high gas communication, and
- Made recommendations to shut off gas production.
The above recommendations will lead to improved sweep and recovery efficiency.

We completed performance optimization studies to increase gas production rates and reserves from a gas field in Argentina for one of our clients, a major International oil & gas company:
- Developed an integrated asset model (IAM) that helped to maximize the present value of the asset,
- Helped to evaluate possible gas well rehabilitation/ workovers, opening of chokes, and timing of compression to out-run the aquifer,
- Helped to identify losses or bottlenecks in the system, and
- Helped to make capital spending decisions.
The above recommendations are expected to increase gas recovery very substantially.
