Several high-level, seasoned consultants of the A&A Consulting Team, along with other oil & gas industry veterans, volunteer their time and effort to teach public training courses under the auspices of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), for the benefit of SPE members and non-members alike. These courses are offered whenever requested by SPE, either at SPE training centers or in conjunction with SPE conferences, workshops, and seminars, around the world — a public, open-enrollment complement to A&A's private, customized training and consulting practice.
Avasthi & Associates, Inc. (A&A) is an independent petroleum engineering and geoscience consulting firm. A&A's public courses are taught on a volunteer basis under SPE's own training program, alongside A&A's private consulting and customized training work — the same high-level, seasoned consultants teach both, bringing the same hands-on project experience to an SPE classroom that they bring to a private client engagement.

A&A Training Services is A&A's overall training hub. A&A's customized training courses and extended skill-building programs are private, client-specific engagements. A&A's public training courses, on this page, are open-enrollment courses taught under SPE's own training program.
